Scottish Textiles & Heritage Tour 2018
Experience the diversity of beautiful Scotland on this escorted 8 day textiles and heritage tour through the colourful Scottish Highlands.
Join us this Autumn from 17-24 October 2018 for a unique opportunity to join historian and guide, Alison Balzer, for a fun week exploring the historic wonders of Inverness, Moray and Speyside before travelling through the spectacular mountain and coastal scenery of Torridon and the West Coast of Scotland. For those with a keen interest in textiles, particularly Scottish wool, a highlight of the tour is time spent at the Loch Ness Knit Festival to enjoy local workshops, crafts and entertainment.
With deep lochs, high mountains, a dramatic west coast, beautiful beaches, historic castles, quaint Highland villages, fine food from our great Scottish larder, and a wee tipple (or two) at a handcrafted Scottish gin distillery there’s a little bit of everything on this tour through the magnificent Scottish Highlands. With so many great places to see in this part of Scotland you’ll be guided on a scenic route from arrival to Glasgow through Perthshire to our Highland capital of Inverness, before continuing to explore the north-west coast. Enjoy our local activities, wildlife, scenery and of course our Scottish hospitality.
From £1715 per person (based on an individual in a single occupancy ensuite room) for travel between 17 -24 October 2018. Places are limited on this small group tour and so to secure your spot now we simply request a £170 deposit payable before 24 August 2018.
